Whitney Manwarring, CPA

Whitney, a Terre Haute native, attended Indiana State University to study accounting and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, in 2010. During her time at ISU, she was a member of the accounting honors society Beta Alpha Psi and the business society Alpha Kappa Psi. She was also honored to be named both a Networks Scholar, for high-achieving business students, and a Presidential Scholar, earning her significant scholarships.

Her recognition continued in 2010 when she received the Indiana CPA Society’s (INCPAS) Outstanding Accounting Major Award. After successfully completing the CPA exam in August of 2011, she received the INCPAS CPA Exam High Grade Award in 2012, awarded to the top 10 scoring Indiana CPA exam candidates.

Upon graduation, Whitney accepted a position at Carmel, Indiana-based Dauby, O’Connor and Zaleski, LLC as a staff auditor.  She was promoted to an Audit Senior position before deciding to return to Terre Haute, when she came to LWH CPAs as a Senior Accountant in April 2013.  Prior to being admitted as a partner in June 2022, she was serving as a Senior Manager within the firm. She primarily focuses on individual and business taxation (including specializing in tax research and multi-state taxation issues), as well as audits of not-for-profit entities, and serves clients out of the firm’s Paris, IL office.

Whitney is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, the INCPAS Genesis Group, the Estate Planning Council of Central Illiana and a member of Scott College of Business Young Professionals Board at Indiana State University.

Whitney, and her husband, Charlie, reside in West Terre Haute, IN with their two children, Max and Jack.
